ALright, so I've been best friends w/ this guy for a while, we're like brother and sister...hes liked me a few times before,...but hell im so in love with him, at least when im talking to him on the phone, but then when I talk to him in person he does something stupid and I am grossed out and i hate him. So many people have told us we would be the cutest couple, but my best friends think its so funny when I tell them I like him. They think im kidding around. So i pretend that I am kidding around. But thing is, I make excuses to call him, excuses to sit by him in the movies, make excuses to hang around him all the time.
What am I supposed to do? I want to go out with him, but im afraid 1. it will ruin our friendship,2. my friends will think its awkward and weird and will not adjust to the change and 3. I might feel awkward and not kno how to act around him

LauraLee010 answered Monday January 31 2005, 10:03 am: thats a hard one! if you feel that it will ruin your friendship.. and when/if you break up.. u might LOOSE that friendship.. and if you feel awkward around him, and hes all nice to you, but like at school, he acts weird and gross, MAYBE its because he likes you back..?? If your friends think your all weird for liking this person, they just need to DEAL with it! You dont just "choose" whom you like.. your heart does it for you.. You cant be like.. "hmm, i think i will like.. -----" Your heart does that for you, so if you TRULY love him, try to be close to him, and ask him if he likes you, or if your too scared, ask one of his friends! And when your around him, juist BE YOURSELF! dont worry about HOW to act, just try to be yourself. Hope this helps! IM me if you need more!
