Swimming in gym

Question Posted Sunday January 23 2005, 7:47 pm

We had to do swimming in gym, and I am a really self concious person. I have dark hair, so I decided to trim some of the hair "down there" so that it wouldn't poke out my suit. It was a pretty stupid move. I didn't want to create skin irritation because I have really sensitive skin, so I pulled the hair straight and scraped a razor across it to cut it. Now the hairs feel rough throughout the length of them, and it's pretty uncomfortable. This was a few weeks ago and it's still not completely back to normal. Is there something I can do that doesn't invovle going out and buying something, I'm broke and I just want things back to normal. Thanks.

Well, first off, it's always a good thing to "keep it trimmed." 2nd off, I'm assuming it had ot have been one of the first times you've done that. The first time I did it, it was extremely uncomfortable, and I didn't like it. But the only way to Get completly over it, is to do it again. I know right now that might seem like the last thing you'd want to do, but it's probably the thing that you should do. If you absolutly refuse to do it, then the only thing that you can do is let it grow out, there's really nothing you can buy to fix things like that. It won't be back to normal for awhile. But just know it's a good thing to keep it trimmed, and it's completly natural for it to feel REALLY uncomfortable for the first few times.
