being pulled in 2 directions
well i have a b/f who has this, "i dont care, get out my face" additude to everyone but me and my family.He gets poor grades and comes from a low-class family.
I have been told I have a good additude, I get straight A's, and I come from a high-middle class family.We are also the opposite race.
Everyone tells me I could do better than him and he'll only bring me down. But I'm the only person he really trusts and respects, and we both really care about each other.(we've been going out for about 9 months.)What should I do? Forget about him and find someone with a better status, or stay with him and help him?

Never stay with someone because you "want to help them". You should still with him if you love him and want to be with him. But not to help him, that's not the kind of love a relationship should be based on. Trust me on this one. It shouldn't matter if he is the opposite race, class, or grade status, it matters how he makes you feel. As far as grades, try to motivate him a little... I don't know how old you are but if you want to have a family with him, you'll both need good jobs.
I think you should think about whats really at stake here. If he is all you've ever wanted, and he makes you feel happy and in love, then stay with him. If he is not doing that and is causing you pain, break up with him. Good luck. If you need more help just ask. ♥
