Don't worry about the "popular" boyfriend they never last long. I would talk to her and see what she thinks of you before you make any moves because you never know if her friend was messing around or not as if you rushed into something you might look a bit silly.

Well, first you should try to win her over. Show her how much you like her, through your actions. Then you should let her know how you feel in a sincere and unique way. When you tell her, please do not pressure her to drop the other guy but rather sound like you will continue liking her and hope that she'll like you back (eventually). And if she doesn't drop the other guy immidiately continue to treat her in an special way, because then she might begin comparing both of you and notice that you are the better choice. Last of all, never let anyone play you, so if it's been more than two weeks of you together and she still does not drop the other guy the drop her (no matter what she says). Your self respect should come first.

it doesn't matter if she has a popular boyfriend...if she really likes you she wouldn't care...am i understanding this correctly...she has a boyfriend...but she likes you?...well,you should probubly ask her yourself if she likes you, ( ( just to get things straightend out ) ) and if she does...ask her why shes still going out with this "popular" guy...
