Me, a Guy, and a Friend
Dear Katie Lynn,
Hey, see i have this huge problem .. See i started going out with this guy during summer break and i've liked him for 6 yrs .. and we started going out and everything was kool .. but i got nervous around him b/c i was afraid that i would mess up our relationship and that was the last thing on earth i wanted .. it ended up we broke up b/c of sumone saying stuff to him .. Well i confided in my friend and she was supporting me .. i guess she got tired of hearing the same ole thing for 4 months .. (thats how long since wed broke up (me and the guy) ) (and the friend has tons of guys that like her .. ) well she went to dinner with one of them and saw my ex ( they've went out before) and told me that he looked really jealous .. i started to cry .. i love him so much and im not ready to give him up .. so i tried to sound like i wasn't crying but i think she could tell .. i couldn't see why she would tell me that .. know i like/love him so much !!! what should i do about the guy and the friend ??

i know what you mean about getting nervous. im like that around joel. youre just so afraid that youll screw things up. you just have to be confident about yourself and know a guy like you for you. ok so now to answer your question.. i also have a friend like that, that tells me things and it seems like she just tries to make me feel bad. it used to really get to me, but i really stopped caring. some people are just like that. just try not to let it get to you, and know that most of it probably is an exaggeration because she wants to make herself feel good. about the guy.. you need to tell him how you feel. tell him the stuff he heard about you was a bunch of crap. just be straight up with him and tell him how youre feeling. much love.
