Friends?
My guy friend and I have been friends for about 5 years now. We're really close. He's very sweet and understanding, and we talk about our feelings openly most of the time. The thing is, I have had a HUGE crush on him for a long time. In fact, I told him once, but we were little and it's likely he doesn't take it seriously anymore. I asked him later if he had a crush on me, and he just said something kind of mysterious - I can't remember exactly what. Something along the lines of "You'll see" or "Maybe I'll tell you someday". I'm 11 and he is 15, but we have about the same maturity level, many interests in common, both go to Catholic schools that we hate, and encounter much of the same types of people and have roughly the same expreience in life in general. I really enjoy his company, and I think he enjoys mine, but he isn't interested in the dating scene - he's said to me specifically that he has lots of friends who are girls, but that he has no interest in hitting on them. I really want to know whether he likes me, and to bring it up somehow, but he is shy and I don't want it to hurt our friendship if he doesn't want to be together in a girlfriend/boyfriend kind of way. What can I say to him? Please help!
