I really like this guy.. but when my friend asked him if he would ever ask me out.. he said no. He is a shy guy.. so maybe if i ask him out.. he might say yes.. the only t w i s t is..I am tooo scared to ask him.. so how do you ask out a guy? and i think that he doesnt like me.. so what should i do?

So once you get him alone, or call him, or IM him...ask him if he likes you. If he says yes...SCORE! But if he responds no, then I'm sorry, but you've GOTTA move on.
