i have this "friend" who acted all nice when my other friends were spreading rumors about me. He was just about my new best friend. but right before christmas break, he yelled at me for getting picked up early for a dentist appointment and the next day had told my friends this random ly that anyone that really knows me, knows it's not true. Now His mom ,(who works with my dad) is spreading rumors about my dad tring to make us miserable! what do i do, just messing w/ me is 1 thing but he had to pull my father into it also... what do i do? (male, 17)

Wow thats tough. I went through the same thing w/ a girl at my school, our mothers worked together too. The best thing you can do is just ignore and try to get on his good side. Let him know your sorry for whatever you've done...and your 17....you don' t want to be involoved w/ a bunch of kindergarden he-said she-said stuff. I hope that helped.
