My parents are getting me a credit card. I dont think i can handle the resopnsiblity but I don't want to say know, after all it IS a credit card! It's also an ATM card and I don't like the thought of stalkers getting hold of my pin number or mugging me. What should I do? Take the card or wait a little bit?

I think that you should be fine with having one and don't worry about anyone "stealing" it or anything. As long as you don't tell people about it then I don't think there would be a problem. You should go ahead and take it if that's what you want. But remember to use it wisely and don't misplace it. Think of this as a learning experience, and don't worry too much. If you are using it for ATM too, don't tell anyone your identity number and make sure you always keep the reciepts, that's a major must! Be careful with this and just make sure you are making the right descision and only accept it if you feel ready and responsible! [ xObroKen68x3's advice column | Ask xObroKen68x3 A Question ]
