Question Posted Sunday December 12 2004, 8:23 pm

hey... i broke up with my boyfriend but only because he lived so far away and i never got to see him. i still love him and i always tell him that and he says the same thing. but lately when i talk to him it feels like he's trying to make me jelous by saying like "Gwen Stefani looks so beautiful in her new music video." or "Jessica Simpson is so hott." i try not to let it bother me but hes been doing it so much lately i don't know what to say. he probebly knows that it bothers me beacuse he used to say those things to me. i don't really want to let him know that it bothers me beacuse thats proebly what he wants... what should i do?

Hey girlie,

I know that can get REALLY annoying! Just act like you don't care and ignore the comments. If you say something to show that it bothers you it's just gonna eg him on more because he knows it gets to you. You can say one thing but not as often when he makes a comment, "really?, wow!" and be all sarcastic or "Thats nice..." lol just be real plastic. Its funny to be sarcastic to guys...
Hope I helped!

Next time he says something like that be like: i dont care, or thats annoying, or sumthin, and maybe he'll get the point. Whats the worst that could happen if you tell him that? It might be his own way of finding out if you still like him
