Pap Test
I have just recently gone on my first pap test. I am curious as to what the pap test can detect. Will it say whether or not I have HPV or herpes, or do they have to run a seperate test to find that out? Thanks in advance for your answers!

The pap smear can detect several types of conditions. Just to mention a few:
-All sorts of various STDS (including Herpes)
-Vaginal, Yeast and other closely relation infections in that region
-Pre-Cancerous/Cancerous or Suspicious cells and growth, clusting, movement of those cells.
It's important to keep up with getting Pap smear. I hope you recieve positive results. Best wishes. :)
