It says in the FAQ that it isn't permitted to ask the same question to only a couple of columnists but not the whole site. I asked my question to the whole site and it was deleted by an admin before it was posted. Does this still count?

In that case, you definitely aren't allowed to go ask it to individual columnists! If we deleted it the first time, it's either not meant for this site or it really needs to be re-worded and changed to be asking something real.
