The risk to both mother and child increase as the age of the mother does. Technology today has made great strides to allow women to experience motherhood later in life and to make that transition as safely as possible. Fertility medication is a good way to assist in pregnancy but should not be used unless absolutely necessary. You may be able to become pregnant quite easily without the aid of medication as long as you are still menstruating regularly. Just remember to weigh the pro's and con's of fertility meds before making any decisions. Otherwise, try to relax and let nature take over, getting pregnant can take up to 12 months and there really is not an exact science involved. You never know you could get pregnant in a week, you just have to start trying. Good luck. [ queenbee's advice column | Ask queenbee A Question ]
