Question on my crush

I have a crush on this boy at school. We are good friends (kind of), he flirts with me alot, and he knows I like him. I don't know if he likes me or not. He seems like he does but he hasn't asked me out yet. And he is the kind of boy who will ask a girl out if he likes them. So, what should I do? Should I ask him out or what?
