my voice

okay,this is kind of long but,i have a great voice,thats wat my friends tell me, but im afraid to sing in front of other ppl,and we have a choir consert in 3 wk. and i want a solo, but im afraid to try out, if i miss,it would stink but,if i made it,id sing infront of the whole skool!! wat should i do???
