Question Posted Saturday November 20 2004, 5:40 pm

I have been cutting. I don't know why I just have but it's hurting my friends really badly and I hate worrying them. I have to stop or my friend will tell my parents. How do I stop?

Hey. There's a lot of things you can do instead of cutting. For me what worked was getting on medicine and having a theripist for a while. At first I HATED it. But now i've stoped and i'm happy I went throught with it. If you dont want to do that there are also other things you can do. Instead of cutting snap a rubber band on your wrist. Try taking a nap or a bath or hanging out with friends to take things off of your mind. Do something you like doing. If things are pretty bad in your life, just remember you shoudlnt take it out on you, and things will get better!! I promise you they will. Good luck, I hope things go well! Drop another one in if you wanna.
