I have scarring on my retinas which the doctors think may be caused by toxoplasmosis. I am unable to learn to drive because the scarring is on the centre of my retinas and cannot be improved enough even when wearing spectacles. I also have glaucoma. is there any corrective surgery available to improve my vision? I am 35 years old
sUnsEt_rOO18 answered Saturday November 20 2004, 9:28 pm: hey! i just learned about this in 9th grade science!! yeah your retina is very sensitive and i believe that lasik eye surgery can help it. no one on this site is going to be able to give you a good answer. if there was something that could help you then your doctor wouldve told you already sorry --rachael [ sUnsEt_rOO18's advice column | Ask sUnsEt_rOO18 A Question ]
