Question Posted Saturday November 20 2004, 12:34 pm

I'm 13, in 8th grade, and I'm going out with this really sweet guy. I just found out that his dad passed away in 6th grade. Naturally I feel really bad for him, and I want to let him know that I'm always here if he needs to talk about it. But, I'm not sure if he is still really sensitive to the fact that his dad is no longer around. What should I do?

Awww poor boy! I wouldn't press the subject of his dad's death, i know cuz my friends dad passed away and it's an akward topic. If he evers seems alittle glum let him know that your' there for him always. When you see him tell him that i'm there for you or give him a little hug now and then just to let him know that ur there for him, and won't just leave him hanging. Talk to him about some important issues or if u have any troubles so he can tell taht u can handle it. Some guys are a little clueless! hope i helped !
