Question Posted Tuesday November 16 2004, 8:54 pm

hey i wrote to you yesterday. im the girl who thought she was pregnant. well i found out today that i was. this really bites. i know you said i should tell my parents but you just dont know my dad. he is a marine..his dad was a marine..his dad was a marine..his dad was in the navy..and his dad was in the navy..i could continue but you get the point. well my dads brother has a daughter two years older then me. at 16 (my age) she got pregnant. when she finally told her parents her father disowned her. like my dad her dad is also a marine. our grandfather taught them that girls our age just dont get pregnant until married which is after age 18. they were told that for punishment they were to disown them and make them suffer through what they caused. so my cousin got thrown out. and while yea im a daddys girl..he would do the same. he is leaving for iraq here right after thanksgiving and i dont think he should have to have that hanging over his head..do you know any easy ways to tell them..ways that maybe they would see i was really sorry. i mean..technically..i wasnt raped..i said no once..but after that just kinda backed down and gave in to it. i hated it but i love him. i told him today and surprise to me he was happy. he is 18 and said he was ready to be a dad. i know his mom and dad will be cool. his family is also military. but since he is 18 he can choose to stay here when they move on to help me with the baby. we should of used protection. im such an idiot. how could i have been so stupid. this baby is coming in to a family of a very strict family where its tradition the oldest son do the marines and the second son any branch of military he likes. so far everyone has stuck to that but honestly..if i have a boy..i dont want him to follow that. life is just to hard on the kids when your moving all the time. ive had to pack my life up 7 times in 16 years..flown on 86 international flights..it gets real old ya know. well this wasnt really asking for advice just wanted to let you know what was happening . take care.

Even if you said no once and went with it, its still rape. But, you love him and i understand that. But, it was. Talk to him that it was wrong to force you into do it but your forgive him and for you too tell him never to pressure you again.
