Hey! I'm the 8th grader that is going out with the seventh grader...Thanks for the advice! But I have another question:he asks me out yesterday right? so i say yes cause hes cool, then whenever he calls me hes all quiet and its awkward, so then today when i see him im all "hey!" and hes like "hey" and he doesnt even hug me! so im feeling all rejected, and i see him again later and once again i say hey and again he doesnt hug me, cause he is flirting with samantha carnival! ughh and if that doesnt make me upset enough, he stands outside with me and loren and emilie and then he just ditches me, and im like "wow i feel loved. so your just gonna ditch me?" and hes all "no". But he did ditch me and it made me sad. Then he comes back after i am almost crying cause i was talking to my friends about "personal business" and he sits with me and like doesnt talk to me and im feeling really awkward, then my frickin step dad calls and i have to go and grant gives me a one armed hug, and i gave him a 2 armed hug. And a 2 armed hug is for ppl you care about and a 1 armed hug just...isnt. People are saying that i should break up with him but i still like him...what do I do?

Ask him if he likes you, or the fact he's dating an 'older woman'. Because you feel he doesn't really care about you, or that he's not as mature with relationships. Talk to him, tell him how you feel. If he blows you off again, tell him that he should be probably dating girls at his maturity level & his horomone level, and you think he's not as serious as you are. Tell him that he makes a great friend, but when it comes to you he's not as good with the relationship. Seriously, just tell him how you're feeling, and ask him if he really wants to date you, and if he cares for you, and if not the relationship is over. Be gentle though, don't crush him!!
