Guy troubles on halloween

Question Posted Sunday October 31 2004, 5:09 pm

Ok I really don't know what to do. My sister is having her boyfriend over (my sister is 17... i am 15) for halloween. We have a really nice basement with a great TV system... but its the only place with a little privacy since its secluded from my parents who are upstairs. I am having a guy friend over too. My sister invited me to hang out with her and her boyfriend but 1. I don't really like her boyfriend and 2. It's going to be really weird if my sister and her boyfriend start like making out because me and my guy friend are ONLY friends. I really don't know what to do. I know we could hang out outside but we really wanted to watch a scary movie and that is the only TV, besides the one in the family room which my parents are always in. Any suggestions?? I'll rate!

maybe you should try seeing if he wants to go over to his house to watch a scary movie or else maybe ya'll could just chill in your room and talk or something like that. good luck with that and have an awesoem halloween !

Why don't you and your guy friend go to the movies instead? The Grudge with Sarah Michelle Gellar from Buffy is supposed to be really scary and its perfect for Halloween night. In fact your sister will be so happy to have the room to herself she'll probably put in towards your tickets in exchange for the privacy and if she's 17 she can even give you a ride.

well make a compromise with ur sister! im sure she will understand. just be like, ok i really appreciate that u offered to lemme hang out with you guys, but me and my friend we dont really wanna feel obligated. so if u dont mind can we have the TV down here later on? and then u and ur guy friend cud just hang out in ur ro0m for awhile. then when ur sis and her b/f r done downstairs.. or after sum time.. u can ask her if they wud go up to her ro0m so u can watch a scary movie with ur guy! hehe. OR u cud always ask mom n dad 2 let u have sum alone time. since ur sis and her b/f r in the basement. parents were once ur age too.. im sure they will understand. soo i hope i helped. feel free to ask if this plan doesnt suit you~!* haha.. toodles. good luck! nd happy halloween!* x o Brittany
