my best friend is a twin with a boy. truth is i love her brother, hes been my best friend since we were like 7. one problem. I have a boyfriend. and last night i was over her house and he was there and when she left the room he was tickling me, giving me wegies, jumping on me, and other childish things like that. she didnt come back. she fell asleep while upstairs so i was downstairs with him until around 5 am. at one point things got really serious (or so i think.) we may have been playing video games together (even though i suck) but he pressed pause and stared me in the eyes. i asked him if there was anything on my face. he told me no and that it was perfect as it was. he lied down on me and started talking to me about our friendship. then he sat up and gave me a hug. and i leaned over and lyed down on him. an awkward moment of silence occured... and we looked in each others eyes. before i knew it he placed his lips upon mine. i knew my friend wouldn't take it too well, and i really wanted to be true to my boyfriend, but i just dont like him anymore. its so hard because im pretty sure that i like my friends brother and that he likes me and im too much of a shy girl when it comes to showing emotions, not in real life tho. i have problems with expressing my feelings. and needless to say i dont have the guts to break things off with the other guy. and if i do, do i have to tell him that i kissed another guy? how would be the nicest way to break up with my boyfriend and still be able to have something with my friends brother -- without her thinking its wierd?

hmm this is a tough one. if you truly feel you have no love left for your boyfriend, then do him the favor and break it off. like i say in other answers, no one wants a girlfriend who doesnt love them. it may be hard to break up with him, but it's for the best. think of it from his shoes. you dont HAVE to tell him you kissed the other boy, but he'll definitly find out or assume something if you decide to go out with him. the only bad thing about being your best friend's twin brother's girlfriend is that it might affect your best friend and your relationship. you may want to consult with her first before making any drastic decisions. see what she has to say. if she thinks it's a bad idea.. give it some time and bring it up again another day- maybe she'll realize [if you still like him] that you two should be together. if she's okay with it, remember to promise her your relationship will still be strong no matter what happens with her brother. if she's a true best friend, she'll help you out no matter what. i know people who have gone out with their friend's twin brother and it really didnt affect them too much. although your case may be different if you are always with your best friend. just remember to always spend time with your best friend, but also time with her twin- such as a time alone with him. you'll get the hang of it when you figure out what's going to happen. if you need any more advice, please ask whatever else you want! that was a tough question, and i hope things work out for the best =] -ask_anything
