Question Posted Sunday October 24 2004, 9:21 am

Hello, I am a 14 year old young lady and I am a freshman in high school! I am also in a Graphic Arts class which I love! Since you're a Graphic Designer, I wanted to ask you if Graphic Arts will help me in Interior Design. I want to become an Interior Designer and I was told that if I went into Graphic Arts, it would help me in Interior Design! Please help! Thank you so much!

Yes, graphic arts is a great skill to have as an interior designer. At the college I went to many of my intro classes had interior designers as well to learn basic layout and color skills. When I was your age I as well wanted to be an interior designer, but found that graphics could potential be a higher paying career field. They are very simular in many respects. Take in as much as you can while the classes are free! Good luck!
