Question Posted Tuesday October 19 2004, 4:59 pm

I think she left me a message in my inbox saying "You stole my answer, you're lucking I don't tell the admin, I'm nice." First of all, I had no clue what she was talking about and second of all, is there even any rule on this site about stealing people's answers? I only look at other people's answers if there are more than 2 answers already there, when I clicked on a question that I was about to answer, no one had answered it so far. Now she claims I stole her answer. Is that even a rule!?

Yes, it's a rule that you can't steal answers. It's fine to read what people have already written, and we understand that sometimes advice is going to sound similar, but if an answer is copied word for word that's cause for banning.
