other than not eating junk food, running really helps. a mile or 2 a day should show results in a week or 2. for long term results eat fruit and vegetables regularly

crap im a little late on the running thing, but this is for fastest results, but it is HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENED. my friends that play football have done it, and they lose several pounds in days, but it is very unhealty.

if its hot where you live, wear celophane around your stomach, and wear a sweatshirt, and if not, do the same thing in a car with the windows cracked. ill say again it isnt recommended, but if your desperate...

Well, the fastest way is probably running a lot and working out on a regular bases. Don't take any of those crapy pills, because they are not good for you and if you stop using them, it will all come back. Good luck! <3 Katie

Well, the age old answer in short to this question would be to "eat right and excersice" and also, remember slow and steady wins the race! But yah, who really follows that? If you are looking to drop about 5-10 lbs in about 2 weeks I would suggest the South Beach Diet. Log onto southbeachdiet.com for more info. It's a love carb diet that's a lot better for you than adkins. It teaches you to eat carbs (when you do) in moderation. Also, you could walk 1ce or 2ce a day or run on a tredmill to stay imn shape a tone up. If you need more info on the diet, don't hesitate to ask. I have a ton of books on it. I would suggest for you to buy the smaller book that just provides you with lists of everything you can and cannot eat and how many carbs it has! Good luck! :)

**EDIT: In respomse to your feedback, omg i wrote you this whole long thing and left it in your inbox but I'm not seeing it on my questions so I just want to make sure you have this to know..south beach does make you lose weight as well as inches around the waist and thighs. there's a show on food network called low carb and loving it that teaches you recipes for low carb life stlye. see foodtv.com for more info. also, if you didn't want to go the low caeb route you could try the Weight Watchers diet..my friend is on it and lost about 40 lbs in about 1 yeasr and her mom lost 150lbs on it in 8 months. a show on food network that would correlate with this would be calorie commando. also see foodtv.com for more info. the chef takes old recipes and fixes them so they have less alories and grams of fat. whichever diet you think you could stick to and suits you best is the one you should try. good luck! :)
