im pretty bad at making friends...im kinda shy and i barely have made one good friend since school started on august 30th...idk what to do im just shy and i miss my best friend at a diff. high school and my other friends. what can i do? does anybody live in michigan! holla at me i need some advice real bad. thanks!

Making friends is really hard. But if you keep at it long enough then it'll work.. and trust me; it's gay and old.. but it really works: BE YOURSELF! I'm one of the like wierdest and dorkiest person alive and I'm such a goof and so clumsy and the list goes on and on with my flaws.. lol but I've got the greatest friends ever and I woudln't trade them for anything because they accept me for who I am and that's just perfection to me.

I know how it is. Being shy sucks. You just have to find people with similar interest, or like find someone sitting alone and talk to them, or join a club or a sports group and get involved as much as possible. Good luck!
