well as long as you arent just in love with this guy for his looks [which ive done before... whoops bad mistake]... you cant do much if he has a girlfriend. unless you are really brave and want to sacrafice being verbally abused by this girl and her "posse" so to speak, id wait it out a bit. obviously the relationship wont last forever, but really it could last anywhere from 2 weeks to 12 monthes. or even more. it depends how stable the two of them are... you would know this better than me. eighth grade is a big year, im in it right now, but for now you just need to either wait it out, talk to him and tell him you like him [possibly making him consider you... depends i suppose] or just move on for the time being. the last one is realllly hard to do, so you might not be able to move on for quite some time. and yes!! do get to know him better, no one will go out with you [or no one that ive ever come across] if they dont know you well! become reallly good friends with him and if he can tell you stuff, you've got it made. wait it out for now, get to know him better and do some other activities to get your mind off this guy ... thanks for coming to me for advice, im so happy that you come to me with your problems! tell me how things go =] -ask_anything
