tell him or not?

im 16.
sex- F
he is 18

i like this guy. but i just met him. he lives somewhere else. i reallly like him. im afraid if anything happens between us, i will have to tell him about my past. im only 16 but i have a bad past. and if i do tell him, im afraid he will leave me. should i tell him? for right now we are just friends but im sure in a few months or so we will be more. should i just leave out the part of me that i am ashamed of?

well it depends on how bad your past is...but if you don't tell him and he finds out later he might leave you because you lied...think about it and if it goes further down the road more than being friends with him then see how he cares about you
