If you can't talk to him because he's dating-
Wait and see if he becomes single. If that's not going to happen, move on.

If you can't talk to him because he doesn't live near you-
Keep liking him, but don't get too involved. Try to find someone new, because he's not an option.

If you can't talk to him because you'll be embarrassed-
Don't! Do what's comfortable for you. When you're ready to talk to gim, get to know him before you decide to ask him out. It'll work out better in the end.
