Hi im 14 my mom isnt the kind of person you can talk to about stuff. She thinks im too young to have a boyfriend or anything. all of my friends do and i even had one at one time and it was really hard not being able to tell her. so i couldnt really go anywhere or do anything with him. i want another boyfriend but its kind of hard for me. there is a boy i like that likes me too but hes never asked me out or anything like that and im afraid that if i say yes my mom will find out! haha i feel like a loser but what should i do?

Don't feel like a loser! My mom is the same way, i have a boyfriend and i don't stuff with him and she doesn't know! But i am a bad example, you should talk to your mom and say "mom i am (what ever age you are) and i think it is time i was aloud to have a boyfriend and i promise i will keep my grades up and if things get hard in school then i will take a break from him and focus on my school work." That is all there is to it.
