No that is not a stupid question thanks for asking me... Well what i always do when i am making out with my boyfriend is i put my hand on the back of his neck because some how it makes me feel safe. Plus i also put my fingers through his hair. Just do whatever you think is right because everyone has their own hand places when making out. You can try some of mine though. I hope i helped you out.
