Another thing to do is u can right click that icon and check to see that all the bars are up. Yet another thing is u can go to start menu, click settings, and go to control panel. From there, u can check ur sound options from sounds and audio devices. This advice is given with knowledge of windows XP, if u have any other type of "explorer" IM me or email or leave me a message. If the problem is still there, again, contact me and tell me more details if there are any. I'll try my best to help!

StiLLwiShinG_1217 answered Thursday August 12 2004, 5:21 pm: :-D it's alright, calm down. all the bars up meaning of the bottom of the slider... I'll explain more if u don't understand.. by going to start menu, clicking the option "settings", and clicking "control panel" through settings, it will open a window with optiions like add/remove programs, add new hardware... etc.. in the screen, most likely at the bottom, it will say "sounds and audio devices" u click that.. it will give u another screen of options about sound and stuff. On that screen, click speaker volume, and make sure the slider bar is all the way to the right. If ur sound is STILL not working. Please contact me again.
