you seem like a pretty interseting guy it seems like you have good taste... my question to you is if you have any suggestions on a good book to read for highschool... i'm going to be a freshman i'm 14 and i'm open to reading anything except for the lord of the rings trilogy (if that's how you spell it) and harry potter... i've already given those books a try and it's just not me. i'm not exactly into fantasy books i'm more into new-aged novels about things that could actually happen to people... i just finished reading the notebook.... do you have any suggestions? thanks alot!

I liked to read Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. It's about a boy who is about to enter college and he's very nervous about it. It's about his last few hours/days before he goes. Anything by Stephen King is good and not all of his books are scary. Read The Shawshank Redemption about a man wrongly accused of murder and imprisoned for 19 years. After 19 years, let's just say he's decided he's been there "just about long enough" as Morgan Freeman says in the movie. Read The Green Mile about a man wrongly accused of murdering two little girls and his amazing power to heal. But in high school, you won't get Stephen King, you'll get Shakespeare. ]
