Hello! Cute site - Love the Evil quiz. NEways I guess im searching for advice in unlikely places cuz iv been mulling on it/single for nearly a year. After having my heart and spirit violently implode from the stress of deciet and abandonment, Im having "issues" w/trusting others who seem interested in dating, and myself in my judgement of them. So time slips by and it seems like ill be a single female until im a still single dead woman...and im horny (respect myself too much to "just fuck")...and i love love: having,sharing,intimacy, etc..
Guess im asking for general advice on whatever you think of this... Im in a kind of limbo between acceptance and anger/sadness that the people i meet in this world arent at all what i expected. Maybe something you advise will make something randomly click, maybe im just using an advice column, which iv never done, and kind of never thought i would. The wonders of modern technology - 'its just a click away!' anyways - thanks for your time and for doing this in general P.S. please dont just advise me to pour gasoline and light on fire anyone whose intentions i suspect, even though it may in fact be the best solution after all (:

a year isn't really that long a time to be single, you know. I'd relax. If you've been heartbroken and don't feel ready to date, then you aren't ready to date, that's that. You don't have to guilt yourself about insecurities or issues. You don't have to get mad at yourself for being too judgemental. We spend gobs of time with people we date, you can never be too judgemental. When picking friends, give everyone a chance. Picking dates is a totally different story.
So yes, we all love sharing and intimacy and everything else that comes with good lovin', but sometimes it's healthier to be single and figure out who you really are and what you really want.
