you know lots of things about periods.. can you tell me why mine is brown sometimes? thanks

Hi,
I wouldn't worry too much about the brown colour. Due to the nature of what menstrual blood is, it wouldn't be so unlikely for colour to vary from person to person and, especially if your young from period to period. If it does continue it may be an idea to visit your doctor just to be on the safe side and put your mind to rest, but don't worry. Do I know a lot about periods, I expect it comes with being a science (inc. Biology) student. I certainly seem to answer a lot of questions about them, lol.
