Cutting
Hey Im 14 and both me n my friend Cut ...i started and then she started after me n me n her are best friends..i knwo she does it for atension cuz she doesnt cut deap...but i guess i kinda cut deap..i dont do it often but still ppl found out n they think diferently about me...and alot of my friends i cant hang out with anymore...and then my friend who cuts with me is like always depresed and has weird mood swings i try helping her but it doesnt seem to work ...i dont want to loose our friendship cuz she means the world to me but yea i dono..pppl are starting to get to her...they call her suicidle cuz she buts weird away messages up and stuf...but yea i need to know wat i can do to help her cuz i tried talking n she already goes to theropy but i need to help her bcuz i cant handle her crying anymore....help please

okay, well i never really was in a situation like this before but people in my school were. so what i think is wether you knew or didnt know she would follow you, you shouldnt have satrted it. theres nothing that bad that you cant fix. you don't have to hurt yourself. my cousins friend is in foster care for it and had to go to a certain hospital for cutting.she lost many privlidges and friends. and cutting turned into even more suicidal attempts. so personally, i think you should stop. and as for your friend, you need to sit with her and explain that theres other things she can do besides hurting herself. tell her that there are too many people who care for her and if she ended up commiting suicide, even people who didnt know her too well would be affected. thats like a girl in my school named amanda, she hung herself over a boy and because of her father.. even poeple who didnt know her were deeply affected. if shes your age too, then you need to tell her that she has her whole life ahead of her and to think of the positive things.. not everything is bad, and if it is it will soon get better. she needs to realize that even though she doesnt cut deep, it could keep affecting her. i know she doesnt think anythings wrong with it now but one day it might be too late. im sure she doesnt wanna cut. and im sure yeah, maybe she might do it for attention but one day she mihgt slip and cut a little too deep. im not sure if i helped you out or not but cutting is a serious issue. both you and her need to stop before it turns into something bigger. write me back with what happens. =) (rate me please)
