Boyfriends... Please help

Question Posted Thursday July 22 2004, 5:59 pm

U gave me some great advice on boyfriends in the past... so im coming to u for more advice.

After falling in love with someone... is there any way to keep from getting hurt if things dont work out? I really don't want to go through that again. I have been hurt before, and it wasn't very fun. I was depressed for WEEKS... is there any way to avoid having that happen again?

Well I have been hurt sooo many times before. I lost my appetite.. i was head over heals for this guy! You wouldn't believe it but he heard a rumor that i was cheating on him.. and then we broke up and i was crushed!! But i couldnt trust very much after that he said we'd be together for ever.. of course i believed it.. its what i wanted to hear.. so i did and then i got hurt.. it sucked but i learned i cant just remain single for my whole life otherwize ill never be married and have kids.. I am getting my way there im young yeah but i am going out with diff. kind of guys knowing what i like in a guy and right now im in love with nathan and im happy i may get hurt in the end.. but i look at it and i think this is all worth while im all grins and smiles cuz i love him so much and he's going to be worth the pain weather he causes it or not. So you need to trust and you may get hurt in the end but thats the risk you have to take and thats how life is. I just am taking my time slowly with nathan and making sure everything is perfect for us two. So just do that and take things slowly and hopefully everything will work out!!-trix
