proposed clampdown on caravans
Ihave been on abbc web site for devon & there is web page on the highways agency saying they are going to restrict caravans from using the second lane on motoways in the west country ,by law we can use only inside lane &second lane for overtaking we are by law not allowed to use 3rd or 4th lanes on motorways. how do we stand on the law if we cannot use second lane,there will be complete caos on the motorwaywith miles of caravansin convoy. hope you can help

Well, for one I don't see how it is a problem as more people over take caravans than caravans over take normal road users.
