Ugh I feel so stupid and weird about asking this but what is spooning?

Spooning can be defined in two ways:

A sex position, or

a cuddling position.

It's like you and your partner are both laying on your sides, facing the same direction, and right up next to each other. Normally the guy is behind you (or girl).

So you kind of looked like stacked spoons, hence the name.
