Suggestion: More Favorite Categories
Would you consider allowing one to have more than three favorite categories sometime in the future?

It's possible. But a lot of people like it the way it is, because when visitors search for columnists "by category", they're really seeing the columnists who love that particular category. You can't list yourself everywhere, you have to choose, so they're getting the cream of the crop.
What's more likely is that we'll add a search feature that lets you pick a lot of different categories, and you'll be able to save that search as your own. It's all in the works.
