hello im the one who wrote about the boy i like ok. i would talk to him but im way out of his league he would probably start laughing at me

Hey, that's pessimism. =P
Optimists live longer, remember that. Give it a shot. If he laughs at you, he's not a nice guy and doesn't deserve your affections. I know, easier said than believed, but seriously. If he does that, he's an asshole, and you don't want to date an asshole. I honestly don't think he'll laugh at you. If he's the cool guy you make him sound like, he won't.
Also, there should be no "leagues" in school. C'mon...if an opera singer (aka me) can date a jock (one of my exes), there's hope.
