A dream's a dream right?

Question Posted Tuesday February 17 2004, 7:57 pm

Last night I dreamed of a unicorn, it was beautiful: an ivory, silvery color and a horn that curled skywards. However, as it raised its hoofs up to the night sky, its lower body dissolved into bones and then became a myriad of tattered strands as it’s torso began to crack apart. The horse soon became enveloped in a red aura and it’s horn and eyes dripped with blood. What does this mean? Does it hold any symbolic reference?

Well, if I remember correctly, they represent purity and only appear to the Unicorn Maiden. Symbolically, it could mean the death of purity. Corruption. Because the Unicorn Horn was once thought of as a source of magical property and if it's bleeding, then something evil has gotten in the way of you connecting with your inner power. The blood, probably representing corruption or whatever, and red aura could mean that it's slowly takng over until you are consumed by it.

In a way, the unicorn itself could represent you
