Skateboards

Question Posted Tuesday January 27 2004, 7:06 pm

Okay I just learned how to ride a skateboard last summer. But I'm having a problem with all of the tricks. And this summer my friends and I are having this Skate competition this summer and I'd really like to be in it with some good tricks. How do I learn these tricks?

Thats easy you have to practice a lot. What kind of tricks do you want to learn? For the most part you need to know basics like grinding, 50 50, ollie which I am going to assume you already know and its important that you are good at frontside and tail side grinds because a lot of good tricks are used with those.

Here is a list of my favorite tricks to do if you have any questions about them just ask me.

For slides
Bluntslide
Frontside Boardslide (railslide)
Kickflip Backslide Tailslide
Backside Lipslide

Grinds

Backside 5-0
Backside 50-50 on transition
Backside Feeble Grind

Flip-Air

360 Flip

The tricks above are pretty easy to do but it take a lot of time and practice. Hope this helped if you have any other questions just email me again

Newark Skatepark in Licking county is pretty good for a boarder to try it Ohio. Or in Hamilton County I think, its called Aggressive skate park built for rollerbladers mainly but its perfect for learning grinds and air tricks its in oh
Ive been to one in Indiana its in Hamilton county its called Indoor something but its pretty good.
