dear chiquitaban
i have a huge crush on a boy from my school. i like him alot but he dusnt know it. we are nice friends but i dont think he likes me more than a friend. do you have any tips of how i could get him to stop thinking of me as one of his boys and as a fellow datable girl? i am in the 7th grade from leon county florida.

i tend to have this problem myself. so do a lot of my other friends.
i would not change yourself as a person just to please this boy. from experience,i know, dressing up and wearing makeup and attempting to make yourself look "hot" does nothing. it only blends you in further with the rest of the girls.
second, i would attempt to make your feelings known. pay special attention to this guy. be sure to have one on one conversations. compliment him.

if this doesnt work, hes not worth it. you have the rest of your life to find the "perfect" guy. dont compromise all your values just to be thrown aside by some man.
