Love triangle? Four and a half years ago I was introduced to my (now) best friend, we didn't really talk too much at the begining nor did I even think of him romantically. Approximately Two years later I developed a heavy infatuation with him which developed (I feel) into love. One year after than began, I suggested we be more than friends and he declined saying we should "stick to group activities." Since then I have repressed my feelings for him. Now, one and a half years, two external crushes and a failed relationship after the incident, we are flirting again, and my feelings have returned with a vengence. I've always believed that if a man doesn't like you right away he never will. Now I'm confused. Is it possible that he may now be interested in dating me? Or is the male psyche controlled by complete physical attraction?

You're overthinking. Take it slow and relax... you should learn to be friends with people and be happy with that before diving into more. If you think he'd be interested in dating you can tell him how you feel but I'd value the friendship if I were you, friendships are usually more valuable in the long run anyway. ]
