Fun with Sexual Confusion

Question Posted Sunday November 30 2003, 10:03 pm

Okay, so I'm a big fan of being friends with guys. Guys rock. However, I also think men are pretty and that some of them are pretty ok. I've liked quite a few of them, but my attempts to date have never gone well - I'm undesirable because, well, I'm larger than most of them. Anyway, I'm eighteen now, a senior in high school, have never kissed, hugged, or held hands with a guy, and am currently confused as to whether I like girls or not. I'm afraid that it may be due to sheer desperation, because quite a few of my lesbian and bisexual friends have hinted that they might be interested. What can I do about all this?

If you don't know that you're attracted to other women, you probably aren't. Most of the bisexuals I've been friends with never had a doubt in their heads. But it's up to you, lots of people experiment.

Don't think you need to be with someone to be happy though, guys or girls. Being independent will give you much healthier relationships with everyone in the long one. Being an inexperienced 18 year old means nothing... there are billions of you, trust me. It's perfectly okay, probably even better.
