I am absolutely fed up. I am in the seventh grade, not popular, not pretty, but intellectual and intelligent and very very friendly. (I think...) Anyway, all the guys are into the hot girls with no brains, or the ones they dont even know. They are all so shallow, my guyfriends always talk about how hot the sluts are and this doesnt help my self esteem at all. I don't want to change into one of the slutty ones just to please them because I am happy with the way I am, but I dress wierd, like a boy, I buy my clothes at thrift stores and ross, I AM wierd, and some normal people dont want to get near me. I just wish there was a way for people like them to see beyond looks because its really getting to me and making school a living nightmare...

I know how you feel! No one thinks im pretty, but the pretty people arnt sluts. . they just are well stupid. .I dont mena to be rude, but they arnt rlly intellegent, and Im a smart a b student bt my friends that r guys always talka bout pretty girls an its annoying an dim in 6th grade and i still havent had a bf. . it might be a good thing, but its not rlly 4 me! I dont rlly think I can answer ur question. . but they rlly have problems, its whats ont he inside that counts. .

You made a great decision not being like everyone else. You dont have to be slutty with no brains to be popular. And you are right boys are shallow at your age. Its just want to be seen with hot girls. Thats just how they are. When they talk about the girls just tell them that you are fed up with it.
