what should i do about this boy?

there is this guy named andy who asked me to homecoming, but i didnt want to go with him so i told him that ill think about going with him. but another guy that i like asked me and i said yes and i still need to tell andy that i am not going with him, except i havent been able to find him, so i am wondering what i should say to him that i am not going with him? especially since he was really expecting to go with me! please help.

Well, you said you'd think about it, so you have every right to go back and tell him you decided no. But in the future, I wouldn't give people the "think about it" answer unless you're really comfortable with both alternatives. I'd have just said yes to the first guy if he was nice, the one who was late should have learned his lesson in my opinion.
