Not a Christian anymore-but nobody knows

Sorry about the lame title, but I don't know how else to word it. I had considered myself a Christian for most of my life until about two years ago. I don't put any particular label on my beliefs, but I'm leaning toward atheism. My family, who are all conservative Christians, have absolutely no idea. I don't want to ever tell them what I believe, because I wonder if this is just a "college-age phase" or something. It would hurt them so much, and I know without a doubt I would lose love from them. But let me get down to the real question...I am trying to find my first job, and my mother keeps telling me to apply for Lifeway, which is a Christian bookstore. My dreams are really starting to develope in a strange way.

Okay, so, ive realized lately that Im developing much more awareness in my dreams. Not only mental, but physical. I have all five senses, I can feel temperature and pain and even the good feels. Im actually hearing things, the same way you do in real life. Usually in dreams when you hear something, you hear it in your head, you dont really feel it like you do when you hear it with your ears. Im feeling the sounds I hear through my ears in the "dreams". Theres also alot more natural sound. I hear people talking, you can hear the wind, theres even been music and machinery lately. These arent exactly lucid dreams, they feel different, but I can feel when the dream starts to fade and I become slightly conscious and have to try to stay...

Okay, this is bizarre. 26/f. And this will be long. I'm just curious as to what people make of all this.
I've had kind of a spiritual/intellectual crush on Loki the Norse trickster god since before the lovely Mr. Hiddleston embodied him. Loki has been a part of my life for a very long time. I was raised Jewish... which never really sat right with me.

I have a catholic friend that has been having bad luck for the past 17 years.With health loosing there job,even had no money and was eating out the garbage.It was just unbelievable.I felt they were cursed in some way.I started asking questions and they have a voodoo doll and have been having it for 17 years.It is from New Orleans and it is dressed in a purple dress with a yellow purse it has sea shells on it with 3 charms.What is the best way to get rid of it respecifically.

I feel so quilty saying this, because God might be mad that I am questioning him, but im so scared. I never touch the Bible but I should. And when I hear a voice in my head I think its just my imagination. Im scared of dying, cause its just so scary. I know its part of life, but there is so many things out there that can kill you, it makes no sense. I wish I could ask what happens when you die, but I can,t. I ask and pray for God to show me something like they do in the Bible but nothing happens. The stuff in the bible is so awesome, but none of that stuff has happend. Im just so scared. Please tell me what you know.

I am a 14 year old female. I've asked previous questions regarding my grandmothers passing and anything family related. I brought that up because I feel that my question today may have something to do with it. Today it has been 3 months that my grandmother has passed away. Ever since my parents have had a tad bit of money issues. Well today I went to a local ice cream shop with my sister. its gets really hurtful after a amount of times people have said it i have been getting this for the past 5 years of my life non stop everyday people commenting on the way i look i had really bad ance and scars on my face well there nearly gone now but they also were teasing me because i find it hard keeping up with everyone in class it really hurts iv said told a teacher what happened but they didnt do anything at all they just left it and went on their sidei just feel soo worthless i would say about 30 people would teas me because of the way i looked i wish fukin karma gets them bk twats

Hi everyone,
I'm a young teen, and I have been a Christian for most of my life. But I don't always feel like I'm meant to be a Christian.
I would like to mention that I'm lesbian, and I have known this for a long time. My church teaches that this is a sin and that being gay is a choice. But I certainly didn't choose to be this way.
They often say that people need to do what Jesus tells them to do, and they say that if you believe in Jesus, you will like the opposite sex. But I do believe in Jesus. . . .
People from my church sometimes talk about that verse from the Bible that condemns homosexuality. Yeah, I know. I read that several times when I was trying to become straight.

I quit the dance team at church because I started drinking again and I didn't feel right about been on the dance team when I was drinking but my pastor asked me why quit the dance team and I told him that it was because I started at drinking again and he told me that every body makes nd that I am really talented and that I need to use my gift and don't let one mistake stop me from beng on that stage and that I was being to hard on myself for one mistake and I needed to give myself a break and not be so hard on myself but I don't want to be a hypocryt would that make a hypocrytif were to go back to being on the dance at church or did I make a mistake when I quit the dance team and being to hard on myself like pastor justin said ?

How can you tell if you're possessed by evil?

I hear evil voices that sound like their inside of me. I went to a doctor & got medicine but that doesn't help. I Even felt something jump through my body & I'm positive it happened. I hear all kinds of evil talking & I see shadows moving around my house. I don't want to talk to anyone else about this cause they won't believe me or think i'm crazy. I saw a demons face in my living room 2 weeks ago. It was pale with long curly hair and stitched lips. Now I'm scared to be in my house & I think something evil is trying to get me or maybe its inside of me cause I Hear angry screaming & growling when I pray. Sometimes I freeze up when I'm sleep too & I can't talk

I've had sleep paralysis since I was young. There were shadows in my room but they never did anything, I believe 4 or 3 to be exact.
I'm 19 now and the sleep paralysis (I want to call it that because I don't want to psych myself out) had gotten worse. there was one where i was trying to nap and I can't move and I'm laying in somewhat of a feudal position. So I'm laying there trying to get out and notice a girl in a long green dress just pass me, her hair is red and curly but I only saw her pass quite quickly. I was able to get out of the paralysis soon after.

Ever since I've tried to get closer to god I've been hearing evil voices & seeing scary spirits. This has been happening for a few years but now it has gotten worse & No one believes me. When I started praying to god & decided to live a better life something evil came around. I heard it & I saw it. I believe something evil is trying to get me & I hear voices that sound like they're inside of me or their moving around me. It scares me so much that I shake & everyone thinks I'm crazy & the doctors won't listen to me. They just tried to give me medicine & that didn't even work. I married by faith an now have a child of 11 months.My husband and me both of us are member of a ministry of Teaching Gospel 1:1. before my marriage I somehow knew that he had some debt but i had to marry him as I received revelation from God that he is the man for me. Personally i did not like him and prayed god plz change your will.But ultimately I surrendered to him and married that person. Now everyday my life is under pressure of moneylenders. Everyday I start with a heavy heart and spend maximum time in prayer.
