Hey! First of all, relax! Surely you must be good at something or have a useful ability. I understand that you are feeling very pressured to choose your career path but you should take your time to think very carefully about your passions and interests, because choosing a profession is a decision that will reflect on your life for a long time. I suggest that you start doing a list with the things and activities you enjoy doing, because self knowledge is truly important to find out your vocation. Also, what you could do is try to talk to a professional that works on a field of your interest, so you can ask questions about his/her job, to get to know the daily tasks and the pros and cons.
If none of these suggestions work, there's always the option of looking for professional advice.

Engineering requires a very high level of interest and competence at math. So it is interesting that you are thinking of taking that up while not being good at math. Why are you interested in Engineering? If because of family pressure or a pressure that doesn't match your own gifts and interests, you need to think about what you enjoy and excel at doing -- whether it be building with your hands, or researching history, or whatever. Your own interests and talents should inform your choices of career or courses -- otherwise you are not likely to succeed, because success requires time and effort. Why do you say you are not good at anything? You should think about what you care about and enjoy doing. To be successful, you need to practice and work hard so you need to want to do that or you'll be discouraged and quite. So choose something you care about, invest in it, and then you will succeed. If you have no idea what that might be, I recommend doing Peterson's self-authoring exercise to help you figure that out. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

Don't waste your money going to a four year school. Start by going to you local Community College to get the prerequisite courses done. The admissions counselor will help you select courses which are the basic courses for most field of studies.

Not only will you save money you will also mature during these two years and give you time to decide what field you want to follow. Once you decide the school will help you transfer to a four year school to complete your education.

Another option is to do as my son did which was to join the military. They, after extensive testing trained him to be a refrigeration Tech. The Army also taught him how to learn for he graduated AIT as the honor grad a complete turn around for someone who barely graduated high school.
